Josh Harder for Congress
Josh Harder is a former venture capitalist and fifth-generation resident of the Central Valley who is challenging an incumbent Republican in one of the poorest regions of California.
Harder is a former venture capitalist who previously worked at Boston Consulting Group and the prominent tech investment firm Bessemer Venture Partners. He is currently a business teacher at Modesto Junior College. He has an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and studied in the MBA/MPP Joint Degree program at the Harvard Business and Kennedy Schools.
Harder is also (very) recently married. Josh and Pamela tied the knot on August 11, 2018.
The incumbent Republican in CA-10, Rep. Jeff Denham, has a well-earned reputation as a politician whose actions don't match his rhetoric. Denham voted in support of "Trumpcare" just days after promising a town hall audience that he would not back the Republican health care legislation; he also voted against DREAMERs despite promising to support immigrant rights.

CA-10 House District
California's 10th Congressional District is located in the San Joaquin/Central Valley area in the northern part of the state. The Central Valley is among the poorest sections of California and has been hit hard by drought and wildfires.
